WHAT IS BIKERPELLI?
The largest, most epic multi-day MTB event on the Kokopelli Trail. We host two fully supported trips in May for 3 days and nights and an average of 150 miles of serious trail time. You’ll ride, you’ll sweat, you’ll meet 20 new best friends and never forget the experience.
The Kokopelli Trail was built in 1989 by COPMOBA, a small group of committed bikers who envisioned a single contiguous trail stretching from Colorado to Moab, Utah. It was named for Kokopelli, the magical flute player who wandered the desert and was able to drive back winter according to Hopi legend.
ABOUT KOKOPELLI TRAIL
Traveling 142 miles from Fruita, CO to Moab, UT with offshoots for additional singletrack, The Kokopelli Trail is unique for a whole mess of reasons – the terrain, the remoteness and immensely diverse conditions. This is considered an strong-intermediate ride and is not recommended for beginners.
Sometimes the best explanation comes thru a camera lens. These videos capture the flavor of the trail and the Bikerpelli experience better than we could ever describe.
Thanks to so many of our riders for their video contributions!
Countdown To Register
Bikerpelli fills quickly, often in minutes. If you’re serious about coming along, jump on the Wake-Up Call list
and we’ll send you registration details & a head’s up in January.
We’ll never SPAM you & this list is never distributed.
Expect weather to be in the 70’s – 80’s during the day. Nites are cool, usually dipping below 50 after dark. You can expect to be riding in shorts & short-sleeved jerseys, some like to carry a windbreaker on day three due to altitude. At nite jeans, thick fleece & maybe some polypro long underwear if you’re cold blooded & a hat are the most common sight. Weather’s about as predictable as a herd of cats so plan for contingencies.
You may cancel by (see itinerary for current dates) for a full refund minus a $40 processing fee or a partial credit for late cancels. Trip spots are not transferable to other riders or events. Credits are applicable towards the following year only and may only be used by you.
